For thus saith the Lord!
Come unto me! Come unto me saith the Lord! I knew you before you were ever formed in your mother’s womb. I had a plan for your life before you got here. It took years for you to discover what I had already planned. Some of you are yet to discover my plan. The plan I have for you is a good plan, not a bad one.
I loved you so much, that I gave my life for you, and took your life from you, so I could give my life to you and live my life through you. Even if you have never known this, it does not change the facts. You have been reconciled to God. So believe and receive my son or my daughter, believe and receive.
Your problem is that you don’t know what your problem is. You think your problem is your problem, but that’s not the problem at all. Your problem is not your problem, and that is your main problem.
You are not your own, you have been bought with a price. One side of the cross was the forgiveness of your sins,(substitution) but the other neglected side of the cross is your identification with my death on the cross, and the on- going death (or reckoning to be dead) to the self- life/flesh. Walking after the flesh is trying to get your needs apart from me. Apart from me, you can do NOTHING! In your flesh is NO GOOD THING!
Believe and receive so I can be in you and you can be in me! Don’t’ you know? It is my will that none should perish, but that all would come to repentance; but guess what, my will does not automatically come to pass. You have a part to play!
Too many of you want to be a drive-thru Christians, wanting spiritually maturity yesterday, but my process is just that, a process, a journey, not an event! This is what I see saith the Lord. The new religion is self; the new ambition is more; and the new slavery is debt!
My Word and my Spirit, says the Lord, will empower you to mature, enable you to stay focused on the things I would have you focus on, but just going to church won’t do it. I long to spend time with you every day says the Lord. I long for you to share your most intimate thoughts and have you ask me the hard questions. I am not intimidated by your passion and emotions, your anger and your fear, not even your unbelief.
Don’t you know? Hasn’t anybody told you? I love you unconditionally. There is nothing you have to do, or even can do, to get me to love you more than I already do. And there is nothing you can do or say that will make me love you any less.
For have I not said… Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Come to me, come to me says the Lord!
